Welcome to the Italian Aid Association

The Italian Aid Association is a welfare office that offers assistance to members of the Italian community. This includes individuals or families in distress, without food on their table or clothing for warmth in winter. Due to the present economic situation this has become a huge problem. We distribute food parcels during the year and especially at Xmas time. Our homes in Orange Grove house and feed members at a minimal fee. These members staying with us are happy as it is the lonliness that often causes senior citizens to find themselves in critical situations. Various other assistance, to name a few, also involves, medical issues, house visits, legal advice, and senior citizens living on a local pension, which is very little. In order to fulfill all the above mentioned we depend on all donors to support our fundraising projects throughout the year so that we can assist our cases. The needy are members of our society that also need to feel worthy. Colombe and Panettone are sold twice a year. This association also compiles an annual diary - businesses support by advertising in the publicity pages. All year round we accept jumble of all sorts....clothing, furniture, linen, blankets, toys.....Our work is only possible with your help, to operate, expand and improve.
